With Easter just around the corner, the Chardon Square Association and Chardon Area Chamber of Commerce are teaming up for some fun Easter events including the Golden Easter Egg Hunt which starts Thursday. Then on April 3rd plan on seeing the Easter Bunny as he rides through Chardon handing out candy from 9-11 am. Watch for that route coming soon! The Chardon Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the publication of a special tribute magazine, “A Common Heart...Uncommon Devotion,” saluting Chardon’s law enforcement and firefighting forces.

The brainchild of local writer Rose Nemunaitis, the magazine is filled with articles about important historical and present day figures in the safety community, notable events and first-hand accounts of how operations have changed throughout the years. Each article is accompanied by striking photographs, many donated from safety workers’ own personal collections.
