: The Citadel has just confirmed that Cadet Evan Greenleigh is the young man who died after a boating crash on Saturday night. SCNDR says the boat was leaving Shem Creek with seven people on board before striking a dock in the Mount Pleasant area.
The Citadel released a statement, saying in part: "Evan was a member of Echo Company and was a Mechanical Engineering major. He came to The Citadel from Bethesda, Maryland, and was a member of the Tennis team. Evan was an exceptional Classmate and Teammate."
