“Beating Heart” is about pulling yourself away from seeking closure. It’s the timeless battle between the head and the heart, except it’s to the point where the head is having an intervention with the heart

This is my first song in over a year, and I don’t think I’ve ever spent so much time working on a song. There were moments where I questioned if I would ever release this — the pressure on myself was difficult to overcome

In the end I pushed through the doubt and now am proud to have this song out in the world. I hope you enjoy the song!
