VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!

LOWVELO requires an army to go on successfully. For those of you who don't know, LOWVELO is a fundraising bike ride on November 5th where 100% of the rider raised funds go to cancer research at our MUSC Hollings Cancer Center. This year we have over 850 riders!! Which is amazing but makes this a huge event and we need help.

We need people willing to run a rest stop for the riders! Each rest stop needs between 5 and 6 volunteers to hand out waters and snacks and encourage the riders. We provide the snacks, you provide the enthusiasm and the decorations for the rest stop. There are 3 left.

Looking to volunteer AND have fun while doing it?!
LOWVELO is an annual fundraising bike ride around Charleston on Saturday, Nov. 5th that benefits cancer research at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center. We need 200 volunteers throughout the weekend for the event to roll smoothly, so there’s plenty of opportunities to get involved!
All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and be invited to join our Finish Festival block party on Isle of Palms, South Carolina after completing their shift. There will be live music, catering from Swig N Swine BBQ, frosé from the Co-op, specialty cocktails from Firefly, and other local vendors for everyone to enjoy.
