Okay, everyone itโs time to congratulate Our Poet of the Month Winner for May 2026, Hollie Dickson ๐
Meet Hollie Dickson, a talented writer from the charming state of Pennsylvania! Hollie Dickson is an award winning poet and childrenโs author from Jeannette, Pennsylvania. She is the co-author of a series of childrenโs books entitled The Benny Chronicles, a series of stories about a beloved pet rabbit and all of the adventures he finds himself in. The first book Benny King of the Rabbits was just rereleased this year with all new artwork. Hollieโs collection of poems entitled The She Inside of Me was published in 2023. After taking some time away she just started writing again this year considering it her comeback year. She is really taking time to immerse herself in her writing, doing all that she can do to advance herself as a writer. Her accomplishments include winning honorable mention for her sijo The Sound of Life, through the Sejong Cultural Societyโs sijo competition and being featured in multiple magazines and anthologies. ๐โจ
When she is not writing, she enjoys spending time with her daughters Aris and Skye and getting all the snuggles from her ESA Otto The Pug.
Many congratulations again, Isabella. You can catch Hollie at our open night live May 21! And if Hollie is busy with Ariโs, Skye, and Otto, our beloved founding fae, Corazon Stegelin, will read Hollieโs incredible poem, โA Mother Denied,โ in her stead.
