This Pride Month, I’d like to invite fellow members of the LGBT community to participate in my concealed carry classes here in Charleston, West Virginia which are free and open to everyone. The best strategies to not be a victim of a hate crime & violent extremism are to avoid dangerous situations, be aware of your surroundings, de-escalation techniques, and self-defense as a last resort.

All law-abiding Americans have a right to keep & bear arms if they feel the need. I will continue to encourage Mountaineers to practice their 2nd Amendment rights safely & legally.
