lol such a controversial topic. In my opinion if you cut the branches they come back beautifully! However by NOT cutting the branches the bark of the tree remains gorgeous than ever 🤗
Don't commit . Cutting back crape myrtle trees is not, and never has been, the preferred way of handling these graceful and beautiful trees. In addition, it is not healthy for the trees in the long run. Cutting back crape myrtles creates large wounds that can serve as points of entry for fungal decay organisms.
