A great report from Austin Weinstein at The Charlotte Observer about Bank of America, Duke Energy, and Lowe's Home Improvement financing the Trump Republicans and their support of last Wednesday's attempted coup on Capitol Hill. Local firms that aren't mentioned here are Coca-Cola Consolidated and CPI Security which provides support to the MeckGOP. If you care about freedom and our democracy, it might be a good time to drink something other than Coca-Cola, at least here in Charlotte. Our parents and grandparents need leaders who will protect them, not put them in harm's way on the campaign trail.
