Hopefully this year and in the years to come, we will better learn and appreciate what it means to be free from oppression, especially the oppression of evil and corruption. Learn to love your country and work to better it. Only actions can make a clear difference in the world, not words or feelings.

During this Pride month, it’s important to remember the connections within yourself. Finding your gender is just one part of finding out your whole identity. Maybe for you, gender was the last piece of yourself you needed to find to be whole. But maybe it was just the first step on your journey through life. Celebrate who you are, and renew your commitment to yourself to become even more.

Now that the world is waking up again from COVID-19, it is time to prepare for a journey of self-renewal. Together, we can purge the old demons of the past that continue to haunt us and instead embrace a culture of change, a culture of re-birth, and a culture of celebration. Come out of hiding and join us at Oyaosun where we will learn how to take control of our own destinies once more.
