💻We have iReady and Benchmark testing this week and next. Please remind your student to charge his/her Chromebook nightly!

This semester’s Design and Modeling students have been studying how critical accurate measurements and reading the dimensions on a sketch are for Engineers. They followed instructions carefully to create these “skimmers,” which shoot across a smooth floor. The more precise the measurements are, the better the skimmer will glide and the farther it will go. The most accurately constructed skimmer shot more than 40 feet across the floor!

In partnership with Operation Airdrop, RMS will be collecting items for donation to help the Hurricane Helene relief effort. Tomorrow and Wednesday, we will accept donations based on the items listed on the attached flyer.

Students can drop off the items in Media Center upon arrival. We will take all donations to the Walmart drop off center near the Concord airport where Operation Airdrop will take everything to affected communities in Western North Carolina.
