As children explore the world, sensory experiences are key to their development. Pumpkins offer a unique tactile and visual experience, helping children learn about textures, shapes, and colors. For children living with disabilities, sensory play is especially beneficial, as it can improve language, social skills, and motor abilities. Check out this photo of Allegro students enjoying their pumpkin adventure!

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month!

National Down Syndrome Society’s Goodwill Ambassador says, “it’s not about celebrating disabilities, it’s about celebrating abilities.”

Allegro Foundation is honored to promote inclusion and acceptance for individuals with Down Syndrome through our movement education programs! We are passionate about teaching our children living with disabilities what they CAN do!

All of the funds raised go towards keeping our movement education classes FREE of charge to the 800 students living with disabilities we teach every week in North and South Carolina!
