Warning Signs of COPD

:Chronic cough: A persistent cough that lasts for months

:Frequent respiratory infections: Increased susceptibility to colds, flu, or pneumonia.
:Fatigue: Unusual tiredness or lack of energy.
:Blueness of lips or fingernail beds (cyanosis): Indicates low oxygen levels in the blood.
:Unintended weight loss: Losing weight without trying, which can occur in advanced stages.
:Swelling in ankles, feet, or legs: May indicate heart complications related to COPD.
Increased mucus production: More sputum than usual, often thick and discolored.
Rapid breathing or increased respiratory rate: Breathing faster than normal.
