It is not hard to "get" that autonomous decision-making is essential for distributed leadership. "Who should I ask?" is best replaced with, "just use your best intelligence and decide". Even with Covid-19, and children home from closed schools, working in lock down conditions, people are demonstrating their creativity, resilience and commitment to contribute. There is no going back. This freedom will not be easily stuffed back into an office cubicle with a supervising second guessing boss.
