Empowering the power and energy professionals of tomorrow today.

Power grid resiliency has long been an issue for coastal communities. If a significant storm hits, they can often be without power for days, and in some cases, weeks.

That’s something we would like to change.

We have joined forces with the Coastal Studies Institute to be a regional partner for the U.S. Department of Energy’s ETIPP program. This program gives remote, island, or islanded communities the resources to look at ways to improve their energy infrastructure, and as a result, increase their resiliency.

Several projects are already underway with the communities from Cohort 1, ranging from microgrid development to electrification of ferry transportation systems, and we are excited about what we are seeing.

If you live in, or know of a community in the southeastern U.S. that would potentially benefit from this program, the applications for Cohort 2 are now open. For more information on this amazing opportunity, click on the link!
