I’m deeply honored to be recognized as a 2026 Mental Health Champion by the Mental Health America of Central Carolinas. Mental health isn’t just a conversation, it’s personal. It’s real. And it’s something that touches every life, every family, every community.
This work is bigger than recognition. It’s about showing up, breaking barriers, and standing in the gap for those who feel unseen, unheard, or unsupported. I’m grateful to be aligned with a community that is committed to advancing advocacy, education, and access, and creating change that truly impacts lives.
We all have a role to play. Let’s continue to speak life, extend grace, and support one another.

Every month, over 120 young men walk through our doors looking for guidance, support, and a place where someone genuinely cares. Fifty-three of them are college students doing everything they can to stay focused and on the right path.
At Step Up To Leadership (SUTL), we give them what many don’t have anywhere else, consistency. Direction. Mentorship. Opportunity.
But as our numbers grow, so does the need. Transportation, meals, resources, workshops, and staff support, all of that costs money.
