About two or three years ago I was looking through my collection of antique photographs I had collected. And decided to use one for a Medusa inspired octopus haired lady. I chose a nice wooden panel and really enjoyed reinventing this old forgotten photograph into something mythical.
That’s how this series started and I haven’t lost inspiration if anything each time I find an interesting photograph I get more inspiration. (Full disclosure the guy with the antlers is actually my like 5th great grandfather but he had such an interesting look to him)

I got an iPad and an Apple Pencil for Christmas. I’ve been playing with procreate. So far I’m pretty terrible with it but it’s still fun to learn something new.
