IHRA 225 | Race Recap 📋

What a day. Nick took on something no other driver attempted Saturday — running both the Pro Late Model and Late Model Sportsman at Pulaski County Motorsports Park for the IHRA Stock Car Series opener. With overlapping schedules and constant juggling between classes, it was a full team effort from start to finish.

Here’s how it played out:

🔹 Pro Late Model — Finished 2nd ✌️ The car was strong all night and Nick was right where he needed to be when it counted. A podium finish in the inaugural IHRA 225 is something to be proud of — especially given everything else the team was managing behind the scenes.

🔹 Late Model Sportsman — Ran inside the top 10 most of the race before fuel ran out in the closing laps. Finished 15th. The LMS result stings, but the effort was there all night. Running on fumes — literally — Nick did what he could to protect the car and the field before it was over.

None of this happens without our crew. 🙌 They ran hard all night managing two cars, two classes, and a schedule that wasn’t built for what we were doing. They made it work, and we’re grateful.

Qualified into the Snowball Derby last night, first run here with a Super Late Model and first race on this car! From the pole to 30th was a difference of .221 seconds.
