If you’ve ever looked at a room in your house and thought…
“Why can’t I get it to look right?”
I’ve been there. 🙋‍♀️

For years, I wasted money on the wrong rugs, the wrong furniture, the wrong paint colors, the wrong everything… and ended up doing the dreaded return walk back into the store more times than I’d like to admit.

The difference between a room that feels off and one that feels peaceful, pulled together, and YOU?

It’s not a bigger budget.
It’s not buying more stuff.
It’s having a plan.

That’s exactly what I teach inside DIY Decorator School™, my step-by-step system to help you:
✨ Use what you already have in a whole new way
✨ Thrift and shop smarter (no more wasted money)
✨ Create a cohesive, designer-looking space on a real-life budget

If you’re ready to finally stop guessing and start loving your home…

Real flowers are pretty… but flowers that never die? Even better. 🌸😉

After lots of trial and error, these are the most realistic faux flowers I keep coming back to every spring. They look real, photograph beautifully, and instantly make a space feel fresh and alive.

Which one fooled you the most? 👀

Anyone else still piddlin’ with decor on this 23rd of December? 🤭

8 effortless Christmas decorating tips to keep things simple, cozy, and meaningful:

1. Christmas books or games under the tree
2. Ribbon as DIY napkin rings
3. Faux roses mixed with greenery (not just for Christmas!)
4. Porch planters used indoors for trees
5. Mismatched ornaments + one ribbon color to unify
6. Garland laid across a headboard
7. Spray-painted letter keychains as stocking tags
8. A game board styled on the coffee table

✨ DIY Nutcracker Lamp!

Just takes 3 things - a nutcracker with a flat top, a mini lamp shade, and a battery light. (And maybe double sided tape to keep the shade in place but as long as you balance it and don’t move it around, it’s fine without.)

Easy, cute, and now this corner of our laundry room has its own little bit of Christmas decor.
