It's almost time for the 9th annual Gaston County Comic Con! This event is free to the public and is this Saturday, June 6th, from 10am-4pm at the Gaston County Public Library. I often get asked which of my books is my favorite. While that's obviously hard to say because I've enjoyed each one in a different way, Thieves of Joy is probably my overall favorite because:
- It's the most in-depth I've gone with any of my characters despite being in third person
- Tallis has been my favorite protagonist to spend time with
- I'm a sucker for the cyberpunk vibes lol
- It was my darkest book, and there was something addicting about writing this one
- It had the best playlist of any of my books (the official playlist is on Spotify, if you want to give it a listen!)
Never heard of Thieves of Joy? It's about a man with a boring life and he spices it up by trying a customizable hallucinogenic. It's a cyberpunk tragedy by me, Jen Guberman!
