Failed cranberry sourdough loaf treats 😅! I am still new to pigs and have gotten much more comfortable around Maple. She hasn’t been aggressive, I’m just not familiar with their temperament. At first I thought their Mohawk was a warning….like hackles on a dog. But google says it’s a sign of happiness for pigs…and now experience confirms that. I can pet on all the girls….but Boog, the solid black male, won’t let me pet him. I can touch, but he quickly runs off when I do. I’ll get there though😊.

Strawberry had her baby!!❤️ He has a beautiful color….not sure what it’s called but it’s pretty. He is a La Mancha x Angora cross. I’m curious to see if he produces fiber to spin. From what I’ve read, it’s usually not that desirable on the first cross. If we get a female, I’ll breed back to daddy to get more of an angora percentage.
