Finding rest can be especially challenging these days, as we seem to be constantly pulled in different directions.

Rest doesn’t mean just turning your mind off and watching tv or scrolling on your phone. It means engaging in something that gives you life and energy.

What are some ways that you find rest in the midst of your busy life?

Allow us to introduce ourselves! We are Zack and Megan Sims, the founders of EnGedi Ministries. We have been married since 2016, enjoying life and ministry together in 3 states, 4 cities, and 6 different homes!

We have always enjoyed church ministry, but in 2020 we felt God calling us to a new kind of ministry. We began to notice the unhealthy side effects that ministry workers face, including burnout, moral failure, and poor mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Through some of our own personal struggles and triumphs, we felt called by God to help others in ministry build relationships, resilience, and rest.
