Right is right. Wrong is wrong. It is us humans who make it more complicated. We blur the lines between the two in hopes of creating our own truth. Humanity gets lost in the process.

People often ask why I chose to write under a pseudonym. With my last name being ‘New’, I didn’t know what would be generated in a search engine- can you imagine how many descriptions may contain the word New. It took a long time for me to choose a pen name. Sadly, my Granny Kinzella passed away while I was writing my first novel. She was the most near and dear to my heart, so I chose Kinz. It only seemed fitting as a way of paying tribute to such a great lady.

Meet the Authors Behind the Pages for the December Chamber Luncheon-

Stephanie Kinz is a Kentucky Native, who now resides in Chattanooga, Tennesse. She is a wife, mother, and has held job titles in the banking and medical fields. Becoming a writer was a dream that she decided to pursue after becoming an empty-nester.

Stubborn as Elle and Rebel Elle are the first two books of The Elle Riley Mystery Series. The two books are heavily influenced by her Appalachian heritage. She plans on adding more titles to the series, as well as some stand-alone works.
