My Tuesday harvest. A bucket of dried okra (seeds for next year) and 9 eggs (2 days worth). We are grateful! Save your seeds y’all. Then you won’t have to invest in more the next season. So far I’ve collected seeds for: marigolds, zinnias, okra, holy basil, Italian basil, lemons and lime basil, jimmy nardello peppers, golden Marconi peppers, jalapeños, cayenne peppers, cilantro, luffa and Georgia collards.

My Monday Harvest: All of my hens are laying now and I couldn’t be more excited! I harvested yarrow, jimmy nardello peppers, nadapeno peppers, Italian basil, tulsi basil, and sorrel calyces (not pictured). I spent some time observing the garden as it prepares for the changes in the seasons. The bees are buzzing around the marigolds and zinnias and my heart is full. This is what I lost in the hustle and bustle. But it’s back like it never left.
