All The Finest In Wood

Five new bowls I finished turning last week. The largest one in yellow pine is 10" diameter ($80), the cherry (log is from the city of Chattanooga) one is 8 1/2" ($80), conical bowls are 7 3/4" diameter ($20 each)

Two more beautiful cutting boards. One with the center feature from a huge piece I made for an island top, the other is walnut,cherry, and hickory. Either availble for $40.00.

Solid oak keepsake or jewery box. Walnut edge for top. 10" x 10" x 4"deep. Interior can be fitted with trays, interior boxes or dividers to suit. The oak is from an ancient tree beginning to deteriorate and endanger a home. The oak was felled, I had it sawed for lumber and dried. All the resulting lumber is spectacular, very dense, tight grain. The top is from one piece I resawed and book matched, creates a stylized owl pattern. Available for a very reasonable $140.00.

I am getting started posting my work. Everything I post will be items I have made in my shop in Chattanooga, a very serene place with a view of Lookout Mountain. All items are for sale at reasonable prices(the first item pictured, cherry bowl, is $60 00), I am not seeking to get rich, I love creating, have never done anything else, want to create more beautiful things.
