Thanks to all the social justice warriors standing strong. I take heart in all the people doing good things, and I don’t lose hope. And I am grateful for all the support at my Mom’s passing. In the context of all the heartbreak in this world, it means a lot that you all took the time and mind. My mom paid it forward in life and grew into her heart - I’m trying to do the same. See you out there.

My sweet mother, Frances Ozilline Walker Ray died by the light of a full moon on the evening of Feb 1st 2026. She had been receiving hospice care at home for the past year after a series of health complications. She passed surrounded by her kids and grandkids as well as her wonderful caregivers. Her Neighbors, friends and church family have supported her journey with abounding love. Her caregivers did a heroic job of keeping her safe and comfortable and always went beyond the call to show their love and affirm her faith in her times of need. I am calling all angels to usher her home.
