Life update + prayer + positive energy request. This year has been a lot, there’s certainly no doubt about that. We had another big event this morning, but this time a wonderful one. Many of you already know, but Bo has battled kidney issues since overcoming a rare auto immune disease many years ago. He has known for a long time he would eventually need a kidney transplant, but not when.

In recent months, his numbers revealed the time for a new kidney was rapidly approaching and it’s been stressful and scary with several unknowns. He’s been blessed to have 4 possible donors beginning the process of testing to see if they could be the correct match. He was also preparing to begin dialysis.

Friday night, Vanderbilt called with a possible kidney match for Bo; a better match than we could have ever imagined.

Saturday, he had to begin testing quickly to be sure it was a viable match and at around 10:00pm last night they let us know it would be.

Bo got a new kidney early this morning. It’s been a long night and day. The Dr. said the kidney immediately began to function when connected. That means the kidney is working and his body is accepting it. What an absolute miracle.

More information coming as to how we will navigate business operations over the Holidays and the weeks to come. Thank you for your patience with me over the next few days as I develop the workflow. I will be back and forth between Nashville and Chattanooga. Bo will need to heal for some time.
