February is Eating Disorder Awareness Month, and we have been out and about in local classrooms to share how every body is unique and everyone blooms differently. This week our 3rd grade friends learned the importance of feeding and watering plants so they grow and bloom, just like we rely on food to nourish or bodies to grown big and strong!! 🐞

In less than 2 weeks, MCR Foundation will host best-selling author and speaker, Catherine Price, on Thursday, January 29th at the UTC Fine Arts Center. This is a FREE event that will take place form 7-8pm, with doors opening at 6:30. Catherine recently co-authored a book with Jonathan Haidt (The Anxious Generation) entitled The Amazing Generation, which was released in December 2025. Her other works include How to Break up With Your Phone, and The Power of Fun. This will be a great talk for parents, guardians, teachers, coaches, guidance counselors, etc. Catherine will discuss the effects phones and social media are having on our kids and teens (and us as adults), along with touching on her new book.

Mark your calendar for Thursday, January 29th, as MCR Foundation Presents an Evening with Catherine Price!!!! This is a FREE EVENT for the community, as part of our speaker series. The event will take place at the UTC Fine Arts Center from 7-8pm.
