Introducing our newest intake to honor Clifford.

Every year on Clifford's angelversary, we will pull one hound from his shelter (Russell County VA) to honor our boy.

Because love doesn't end—it gets passed on.

I have always wanted to do this but have not acted on it. This year I did and Blake helped me. To make up for the 2 missed years we pulled not one, two, three but FOUR lives for our annual "Cliff's Pick's".

Blake picked 3 adorable TEENY beagle mixes from our local animal control facility and today arrived our 4th Cliff's Pick's pup, Skeeter!

This fella is a small framed coonhound boy. He is nervous but so very trusting already. We are thinking of a new name for his new life. He was listed as a 6 month old pup. I think he's around a year old give or take.

We are really excited to fill our kennels with wonderful dogs and hope they don't stay long so we can continue to help more

Howlena update

Howlena continues to do well. She is tolerating the fluids as best as she can. Fluids are currently administered twice a week. Foster mom Taylyn is ON IT, every change, every meal logged, activity level, water intake etc. Shes on it.

She is absorbing fluids more quickly now which shows her body is more dehydrated. Every change is noted to always ensure her quality of life is coming first.

Although the invoice reads "Luke" this is the cost of fluids, 1 bag is for one week (for now, that will increase as she will need more when her body tells us so)

The cost of her prescription food is currently covered thanks to Taylyn. When we get low, I will make a post. Until then I will be stocking up on more fluid bags, needles, and tubing. If you are able to contribute please make note of Howlena
