Spent the day at the Military Aviation Museum with some kids in their summer program. Taught them about rocketry and built some Alpha’s in the morning and launched them in the afternoon.

Stainless Steel Nozzle Washers These are made out of 304 Stainless Steel. All sizes are 4mm thick. Available sizes: 29mm (0.996" ID of casing) 38mm (1.334" ID of casing) 54mm (1.939" ID of casing) 75mm (2.75" ID casing) 98mm (3.55" ID casing) Can modify to fit the 3.50" ID at no extra charge.

Made a nozzle for Bill Schworer. He has used the Aerotech phenolic nozzle before in his 98mm 2 grain warp-9 end burner. The long burn was eroding the throat too quickly and throwing off his Kn. He had me modify the Aerotech nozzle to accept a graphite insert so the erosion of the throat shouldn’t be a problem next time.

Sent this out today to Patrick Carroll for his 98mm Aerotech hybrid revival project. Looks like a fun project, I’ll definitely be following his progress on this. Here is the website.

Made some nozzles for some hybrid motors yesterday. 3 sizes, 2 of each size.

Finished a couple of nozzles this morning, a pair of 75mm nozzles. One with a .75 throat and the other with a wild 1.125 throat.
