Started talking to a neighbor because her and her husband would walk their dogs in the evening. From our nightly chats we discovered we have a lot in common. Main things being books and plant love.

Last night she came over with this whole entire series and recommendations for others.

Life is truly beautiful. We can never predict when everything might change, and our familiar world could feel distant. Happiness can arrive unexpectedly, leading us to embrace self-love with incredible passion. I hope that each day brings you a bit more strength to love yourself and discover inner peace.

Yesterday I talked about burnout and getting to your winning moments.

After the talk, someone caught me outside and asked me what was the one thing I learned how to do to avoid burnout and without hesitation I said “I had to learn to let it go. I had to give up my desire to be perfect, to be in control, and to shrink myself to fit into someone else’s box. I had to find my happy again and figure out what I enjoy and definitely stop people pleasing”.

You see, we spend so much time doing little things that in the moment we don’t realize how it is causing a domino effect that will ultimately lead us to being tired. For many of us, parts of ourself will start to dwindle down. We shrink into the version someone else want us to be and it still may not be enough.

Letting it go was the best thing I could have done for me.

A breakthrough definitely happened and for that I am grateful.

I have been busy in the background creating a journal that has transformed in how I originally thought it should be. Now, I am at a place where I am more than proud of the product that I am putting out and the reason and vision for it.

Many times we focus so much on the setbacks and negatives of life that the little victories along the way, we overlook. Our winning moments are wins to us whether anyone else understands them or not.
