Hey My Friends!

It's been awhile since I've posted here, but I have some exciting news to share with all of you!

If you haven't heard of the movie that came out on July 4th called , The Sound of Freedom, you need to check it out. I haven't seen it yet myself, but I recently learned about it from a friend and have been watching interviews and many clips about it. It's about child s*x slavery. The statistics are staggering! We cannot stay complacent to this horrifying issue. I'm so glad that these brave people are shedding light on this huge and heart breaking problem in our world. As they say in the movie, "God's Children are not for Sale." No they are not!

I have been so moved by this movie's message that I said to myself and a close friend I need to be involved with a non-profit and do some of my soul's work on a bigger level.

No lie, the next day I got a text from a friend asking me to help her and another woman with a non-profit! Seriously Spirit works fast!!

Frankly, she asked me several years ago to take this non-profit over, but I just didn't have the time to do it. Nor did I feel I had the expertise.

She found a lovely soul to do it. The 3 of us met last week and we had a wonderful and inspiring connection. She shared what she has been doing in the Bridgeport schools and pre-Covid in the libraries too.

This dear woman has been teaching mindfulness and yoga to the youth of Bridgeport. She has created calm rooms for these sessions to happen. She has asked me to help Feng Shui the rooms. I'm very excited to me apart of this project. I can see the need for every school to have a calm room, a space where kids and frankly the teachers and administration can come to recenter and find some peace and calm.

I'm putting it out to my community to see who might be interested in helping us to grow this project as we believe every school and business for that matter needs a calm and safe space to breathe, stretch and find some peace within during the stormy days.
