⚠️🥵 An Extreme Heat Warning has been issued for all of SE PA, northern DE, and much of NJ, where dangerous heat will begin Wednesday through Saturday. The watch remains in effect for far southern NJ, barrier islands, and Delmarva.

High temperatures of 95-105° and heat indices of 100-110° are expected each day, hottest Thursday through Friday. This includes area beaches and mountainous areas, which will not offer much relief from this extreme heat event. Plan accordingly if you are traveling for the holiday weekend.

A stretch of dangerous heat is forecast this upcoming week. An Extreme Heat Watch is in effect Wednesday through Saturday for much of the area. Peak heat index values of 105-110 degrees each day. Be prepared!
