Next Generation Scientists Virtual Summer Mini-camp (7/12-7/16) Widener's Next Generation Scientists Summer Mini-Camp is the perfect place for high school students to explore subjects hands-on as diverse as biochemistry, biology, chemistry, computer science, environmental science, mathematics, and physics and astronomy.

This year we are part of a national network of EnvironMentor chapters. EnvironMentors gives high school students the opportunity to work with undergraduates and professors at Widener Univeristy in research labs focused on environmental impact. These are our students and mentors for the Fall 2019/Spring 2020. They will work together and present their research at a national science fair in May! We are partnered with students from STEM Academy at Showalter in the Chester Upland School District. The EnvironMentors Program is a project of the National Council for Science and the Environment's (NCSE) that seeks to give college access to underrepresented students. We are proud to be part of community and national partnerships!
