Definition of Love (S.A.W. Sounds submission) (Philly)

10 years feels like 10 seconds. I really don’t have the words. Nor do I know if I even really want to share this. But, I realize as I’m writing that this is not a tribute, but gratitude. For having 27 years with the greatest Mom, and 10 years of seeing how Jehovah truly is a light in a darkened world. Poetry is one of the healthy coping mechanisms I’ve been able to use to process, and manage through the voids and helplessness that make it hard to feel whole anymore. If you are coping through this same type of hurt, anger, and angst please know that you are not alone. I’m living proof that you can manage, and cope successfully until that time comes where loss and pain are no more. (Revelation 21:3,4) We are another day closer. Thank you for lending your ear to my grief. It means more than words can express. 🙏🏼
