Blandford Granville Boundary Stone on Beech Hill Road. We can't resist stopping at these in our Hilltown travels! Boundary posts were originated when the towns were officially incorporated, some as early as the late 1700's. Every five years a person designated as a boundary walker would search them out and carve the date to certify the town's boundaries. This didnt always occur, some are very remote.
