A Message of Gratitude from Our Executive Director:
As we reflect on this season of gratitude, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who spread the word and donated in support of our 2025 Thanksgiving Drive. Your generosity helped us provide meals, comfort, and a sense of community to families across the City of Chester and Delaware County during a time that can be difficult for many. We met our goal of providing 25 families with a full Thanksgiving meal, ensuring they could gather, share, and experience the holiday with dignity.
Thanksgiving is more than a holiday; it is a reminder of the power of coming together, sharing what we have, and uplifting one another. We are reminded of the power of community, compassion, and collective care. Your support brought warmth, comfort, and hope to our families.

25 families are currently enrolled in CCC’s trauma recovery and we want to help them get a full Thanksgiving meal this year!
If in-kind donations aren’t possible, we also welcome monetary contributions to help us purchase additional supplies and cover event costs.
Donations can be made by mailing a check payable to Chester Community Coalition/Urban Affairs Coalition with “Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway” in the memo line to 1650 Arch St., Suite 2701, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
We are inviting volunteers to help assemble and distribute the baskets. This is a meaningful opportunity to give back and connect with families in our community. If you or your team would like to volunteer, please contact us at [email protected].
Your support helps CCC continue its mission of healing and restoring hope to survivors of trauma and loss. Together, we can make this Thanksgiving a season of gratitude, compassion, and community.
