2 years, the worst 2 years of my life. 2 years of no little voices calling me MiMi. 2 years of no random hugs. 2 years of no laughter. 2 years of not being able to watch you find amazement in the world around you and get excited about learning. 2 years of missing you every day. This morning around 1 am I was outside taking the dogs out and there was a cardinal hoping around the back yard, I know it was you saying "hi." I am always seeing the signs you send me, I know you are there with me, I just wish I could hug you and talk to you, even just one more time. This year I am trying to look at it not as the day you left us but your birthday of getting your angel wings. I love you so much, forever. 🩷💜🐞🧡💛🦩

I am trying really hard to turn our family's devastating tragedy into something Ivey and Ava would be proud of. Ivey struggled with dyslexia but worked hard and overcame a lot of obstacles, even to the point that I couldn't spell secret things in front of her anymore. Ava was so excited about learning to read. I want to start a nonprofit foundation called The Doodlemingo Foundation (named after a combination of my nicknames for them) that raises money for books to donate to school libraries (which are underfunded) and school supplies for kids going back to school to help them have the tools to reach their potential. I started buying books for their school, Ecoff, myself and started with of course "Doodlebug" and "Mingo" books along with Declan's favorite Pokemon and one of my favorite books as a kid. If anyone who has experience in setting up a nonprofit would reach out to me that would be fantastic. I am presently researching to make sure everything is done properly.

Big day for Adelaide's today. I am now in 2 different, both terrific, "vendor" stores. Elephants Trunk in Chester, and Bee Charmed on Hull Street. I am excited to reach even more customers. My established customers should definitely stop by to see not only my displays, but the other wonderful vendors each store has on hand. As always, each piece is one of a kind, and custom orders are always welcome.
