Haus is an ex-harness racer, turned Amish workhorse, turned killpen drop off. He was fortunate to be scooped up by Colby’s Crew Rescue and further fortune has placed him in the adoring hands of his current owner Brittni.

She has gone above and beyond to bring him all of life's comforts and joy that he SO deserves. With that devotion- a gentle, honest, and goofy personality has blossomed!

Haus' body has a story to tell of his past, but his forever future holds the promises of sunshine, snacks... And stickers 😋

Seeing what this mare had to teach us is an experience I will carry with me for a lifetime. DSLD/ESPA, sacralized lumbar, cysts near the o***y... Seeing, feeling, and sharing discussion with the brightest brains on every piece which makes up these incredible animals was deeply humbling.

I also caught the dissection bug! If anyone knows of dissection seminars to attend in the states, please let me know!

I am going to need to take time to sit with this information and digest a truly overwhelming deep dive into anatomy and physiology. I'll be awe struck for a while now.
