Good morning folks!
While working for a land trust a few years ago, I discovered a way that the IRS allows churches/nonprofits to sustain themselves with business income (they call it Unrelated Business Income). UBI is typically misunderstood and underutilized. As a result, many organizations are forfeiting revenue opportunities. When I signed off from the land trust to be closer to home, we closed deals literally worth millions! (I definitely should have asked for a higher salary 🤓, but I got the knowledge)
