The call for applications begins on July 1 and runs through July 31. Artists and arts organizations can apply for a share of $2 million in Miami and Detroit and $1 million in Akron to fund their projects by submitting a hundred-and-fifty-word proposal that answers a single question: What is your best idea for the arts in either Akron, Detroit, or Miami?

This year's challenge will highlight artists and arts organizations working to find new ways to attract audiences, enhance in-person experiences, document creation, and/or amplify outreach to people who otherwise would not experience their art.

DEADLINE JULY 9TH

Grants ranging from $30,000 and $150,000 will be used to bolster innovative local models to provide volunteer non-medical assistance to older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers and evaluate the effectiveness of those models in different communities
