Recently the Mighty Ninety welcomed Maj. Gen. Kimbra Sterr, Air National Guard assistant to the Air Force Global Strike Command commander, for a mission-focused visit centered on the Airmen, infrastructure and sustainment efforts that support the nation's intercontinental ballistic missile mission.

During the visit, Sterr engaged with Airmen and leaders across the wing to discuss strategic readiness, quality-of-life initiatives, and ongoing modernization efforts ensuring the long-term effectiveness of the nation's nuclear deterrence enterprise.

Throughout her visit Sterr witnessed first-hand the importance of the land-based leg of the nuclear triad.
