The City of Cheyenne will hold a Public Meeting to discuss proposed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projects for Program Year 2026 (PY26).
🗓 Date & Time: Wednesday, November 5, 2025, 4:00–4:30 p.m.
📍 Location: Attend in person at Laramie County School District #1, Room 151 (Door 5), NE side of Storey Gym, 2810 House Ave., Cheyenne, WY 82001. Parking is available near Pershing Blvd.

Residents are encouraged to attend, share comments, and learn about the CDBG process.
Proposed PY26 projects include requests from:
Accessible Space Inc. – Heritage Court Apartments Rehab ($50,000)
Cheyenne Hills Church – Fire Suppression Safety System ($158,000)
Family Promise of Cheyenne – 5th Street HVAC Replacement ($45,000)
HealthWorks – Roof & Elevator Replacement ($270,000)
Magic City Enterprises – Magic Meadows Project: Curb, Street & Gutter Install ($600,000)
My Front Door – Williams Center Renovation ($80,000)
Steam Plant Cheyenne Investment, LLC – Snyder Ave. Sidewalk Extension ($85,230)
Wyoming Coalition for the Homeless – Welcome Mat Rehabilitation ($90,000)
The City anticipates approximately $270,000 in HUD funding for PY26.

📢 Attention Cheyenne Community! Grant Writing Workshop – September 4-5, 2025
I’m excited to share details about an upcoming, in-depth two-day Grant Writing workshop presented by Laramie County and Grant Writing USA.

📢 Public Hearing Reminder: 2025-2027 Consolidated Plan
Don’t forget! The City of Cheyenne will hold a Public Hearing for the 2025-2027 Consolidated Plan and 2025 Annual Action Plan on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 6:00 PM during the City Council Meeting at the Municipal Building, 1st Floor, City Council Chambers, 2101 O’Neil Ave.
Why Attend?
• Learn about community needs, funding priorities, and proposed uses for CDBG funds.
• Review the Draft 2025-2027 Consolidated Plan, 2025 Annual Action Plan, and the Draft 2025 Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice.
• Share your feedback to help guide the future of community development and fair housing in Cheyenne.
