John R Stephens - Image Wizardry

This is the Frontier Refinery here in Cheyenne. Kathy and I were out doing some night time photography a few years back. She thought this would be an interesting subject. Anyway, I thought I'd reprocess this into a B&W. It brings to mind for me anyway, nightshift activity and moodiness of the night.

Here's another Bull Elk image I took as the sun was getting low. He was pretty intent on a bunch of cows and not to worried about us. I had a pretty long lens on to boot. I was pretty impressed with the lighting on this particular image, taken in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Last fall on a backroad in the Medicine Bow National Forest. Southeast Wyoming. I'd rather be here than on blacktop anytime!

An edit on an image I took during warmer days. This is the Vedauwoo area of the Medicine Bow National Forest, a few miles up the road from my house. Fall colors are some of my favorites. And the rock formations are pretty cool here. Thinking of warmer days to come!
