Walking down the toothpaste aisle is often overwhelming! How do you choose from the 30 options available, and more importantly, how do you find the right one for your child?
There are benefits to both training toothpaste and regular toothpaste, so it really comes down to what works best for your family 💙 Both are SAFE when used as directed. While the AAP/AAPD recommend fluoride toothpaste once the first tooth pops through, if you want to start with training toothpaste, that’s totally okay—go for it!
Toothpaste alone isn't the main predictor of cavities - habits matter more. Think constant snacking, taking any drink other than water to bed, regularly seeing your dentist, and brushing daily too.
Every family has different preferences and needs and we are here to walk that journey with you, one step at a time.

Here's what really matters 👇🏼
✔️ A few consistent habits - make toothbrushing part of an already established routine (add it to getting dressed for the day, or bedtime routine).
✔️ Limit snacking.
✔️ Stick to water between meals and at bedtime.
✔️ Support from your dental team that meets your child where they are.
If brushing feels messy, rushed, or imperfect some nights - totally normal. You're not behind, you're doing your best.
