Rain Crow Rambles

Yesterday I was working remotely from a Starbucks I frequent when I'm in town. I'd been there all day, since about 6am, when a partner walked over to my table and slipped me this note folded in half. When I read it and looked up, there were 3 or 4 of them behind the counter smiling at me. There is no way I was able to contain the joy I felt in that moment.

You know, it's been a tough 6 weeks for me. I lost my Father in September and I've been struggling with it. There is no pain comparable to losing a beloved parent. So this, this meant more to me than they could ever have imagine. And I love them for it.
