Why H.O.P.E?

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working alongside so many incredible families, youth, caregivers, providers, schools, community partners, and advocates.

As H.O.P.E in Wyoming continues to grow and evolve, reviews and recommendations help others understand who we are, what we stand for, and the heart behind this work.

If we have worked together in any capacity and you feel comfortable sharing a review or recommendation, it would mean so much. Whether you are a family member, community partner, professional, or someone who has seen our work in action, your words can help others feel more confident reaching out for support.

Please only share what you are comfortable making public, and there is no need to include any private or personal details.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Your support, trust, and encouragement mean more than you know.

Together We Heal.

Some seasons ask us to pause, breathe, and remember why the work mattered in the first place.

For H.O.P.E in Wyoming, that answer has always been families โ€” and especially youth.

Youth deserve to be heard, not just talked about.
They deserve to have a voice in their own story.
They deserve support that sees their strengths, honors their culture, includes their natural supports, and builds around what matters most to them and their family.

As we continue moving through this transition, H.O.P.E remains deeply committed to the 10 Principles of High Fidelity Wraparound:

Family voice and choice.
Youth voice and meaningful participation.
Team-based support.
Natural supports.
Collaboration.
Community-based care.
Cultural respect.
Individualized planning.
Strengths-based work.
Persistence and outcome-focused support.

These principles are more than a model to us. They are a reminder that healing happens through relationships, dignity, and people showing up with purpose.

The path may be shifting, but the heart behind H.O.P.E remains the same.

April is also the Month of Hope ๐ŸŒฑ
Hope doesnโ€™t mean everything is perfect.
Hope means:
โœ” Showing up anyway
โœ” Taking the next step
โœ” Believing change is possible
Even on hard days.
If your family is struggling right now, you are not alone.

๐ŸŒฟ Regulation Tip for Families
When emotions run high, connection matters more than correction.
Try:
โœ” Sitting with instead of sending away
โœ” Lowering your voice
โœ” Naming feelings: โ€œThat looks really hard.โ€
Regulation is taught through relationships.
