Staying active doesn’t mean you have to spend hours at the gym. Small movements throughout the day can make a big difference in keeping your heart healthy. Here are simple ways to stay active at home or work:
1. At Home 🏡
✦Stretch every morning to boost circulation.
✦Household chores like cleaning, gardening, and cooking keep you moving.
✦Quick workouts - Bodyweight exercises like squats, lunges, or push-ups take just a few minutes.
✦Play your favorite song and dance around the house.
It’s fun and great cardio.
2. At Work 💼
✦Take the stairs instead of the elevator.
✦Take phone calls while walking around.
✦Engage in desk exercises like stretching your legs, seated marches, or try calf raises while working.
✦Take lunch break walks - A 10-15minute walk after lunch boosts circulation and energy.
