The evolution of the Mexican flag throughout history!
From the struggle for independence to the present day, our flag has changed, reflecting the country's political and social transformations. Each design represents a key moment in Mexican history, but the spirit of struggle, pride and sovereignty has remained intact.
1810 - 1813: The first insurgent flag with the Virgin of Guadalupe, symbol of the struggle for independence.
1821: The flag of the Trigrant Army, marking the end of the War of Independence.
1823 - 1846: First design with the eagle on a nopal, establishing the national identity.
1864 - 1867: Flag of the Second Mexican Empire, with European influences.
1916 - 1968: Evolution of the shield and design refinement.
1968 - Current: The flag that today waves proudly all over Mexico. Our patriotic lip is more than a symbol, it is a reflection of our history, resistance and greatness!
