Sunflower Jr Braid Academy (ages 9-15)

While children in this age group cannot be licensed, they will graduate with a Certificate of Completion and a Sanitary Tools Certificate, equipping them with foundational skills and confidence in hair care and braiding.

Here’s a weekly breakdown of our 4-week program:

🌟 Week 1: Sanitation and tool preparation – learn proper hygiene and tool maintenance.
🌟 Week 2: Braiding basics – practice parting, sectioning, and simple braids.
🌟 Week 3: Advanced techniques – master knotless braids and creative cornrows.
🌟 Week 4: Braiding showcase – apply their skills, complete a final project, and celebrate graduation!

🗓 Classes run Wednesday-Friday for 2.5 hours after school.
