George Herrera and the Riot fest has gone above and beyond to make things right for our community including a community area for our businesses to gain access to 40k ppl a day. This gave our mom and pop businesses a leg in game to get minimum of 25k in 3days. I’m very disappointed that park district only gives 10% of its 700k back to our disinvested community. Yet they put the riot fest through the ringer but allow the racist LaLa Palooza and other major fest do as they please and no questions ask. But they ask the black and brown communities to do dog and pony shows to prove to their Egos the fest should stay smh. For folks always to say we need access to money well why is it when we get it you still want to take the opportunity away from our local businesses smh
